My vision
I looked at the landscape of handheld LoRa Nodes Radios that run Meshtastic and couldn’t find anything that ran higher than .2W and had the portability, battery life, and design I wanted, so I started to formulate a plan to create my own.

Node V1 is still in the design stage, next will be a heavy revision stage followed by a small batch manufacturing stage, during which I will aim to get it in the hands of objective third parties who can give me honest feedback. I have already begun sourcing all of the parts needed and am painstakingly trying to keep the price as low as possible, while still making it a great product.

Goal
I looked around at all of the Meshtastic radios on the market and mostly found ones that transmit at about .2 Watts, I wanted to push the boundaries of the unlicensed power and transmit all the way up to 1 Watt, so I decided to design my own. The main goal is to make this a fully fledged product and sell it to people who are interested, that is a ways away yet though...
