Node V1 is an advanced, resilient communication device designed for robust connectivity in diverse environments. Combining Wi-Fi, LoRa, cellular, and satellite radios into one seamless mesh network, it ensures reliable communication even in remote or challenging areas. Featuring encrypted messaging, real-time GPS location sharing, team-based private channels, and a user-friendly graphical interface, Node V1 is perfect for outdoor adventures, emergency response, remote teams, and anyone who values privacy, durability, and staying connected when it matters most.

Node V1 will connect to an equally robust IOS and Android App that will give users much more granular control. The map will be topographical and have global coverage. The messaging, Radios, Teams, Nodes, and settings sections will all be fully featured and allow for a high level of control.

My vision

My goal was to build a radio for teams to be able to stay in direct and constant contact throughout their mission no matter where any of the team members might be in the area, the region, or on the globe.

New Product

Node V1 consists of a 2Watt LoRa radio, a Wifi and Bluetooth module, and a 5G/Satellite module, all working together to keep any team in constant contact with each other. The device will dynamically switch to whichever communications transceiver it needs to to keep you in touch with your team members.

Node V1 is still in the design stage, next will be a heavy revision stage followed by a small batch manufacturing stage, during which I will aim to get it in the hands of objective third parties who can give me honest feedback. I have already begun sourcing all of the parts needed and am painstakingly trying to keep the price as low as possible, while still making it a great product.

How much will it cost? (Tariffs Update)

This is an excellent question, as I have started sourcing parts and am trying to keep the price as low as possible I can only give a range. That is about $500-$800 per unit.

As it stands now (7/9/2025), tariffs have increased production costs by about 11%. These costs are likely to change, I will update this section every time I do a production cost analysis, which will likely be weekly.

What will the range be.

The range will be unlimited, with the Satellite radio you will never lose connection to your team.

When will it be available.

There is still a ton to do in the design and revision phase, then I will move to small batch manufacturing and testing, followed by the early manufacturing stage of about 30 units. Those 30 units should be available sometime in late 2026 to mid 2027.
